Victory Weekend Update

It is customary to give thanks and show gratitude during the month of November. It is for this reason and a host of others that our entire team would love to take this opportunity to thank all of you for a successful 2019 Victory Weekend season.

We were fortunate to bring outstanding family-friendly entertainment to 18,000 men, women, and children this year, and we thoroughly enjoyed watching the joy and excitement on their faces. When you have musical talents such as the Jess Zimmerman Band, Southern Edge, Levi Riggs, Aubrey Rey, and the Jeff Polen Band, you know that you are going to offer the race fans an amazing musical experience. We are indebted to the gifted artists for their musical abilities as well as their love for the fans who came out this season.

We also had the unique and humbling honor to celebrate 176 selfless heroes. Our veterans, active military personnel, and first responders are national treasures and it was our pleasure to give everyone an opportunity to show them gratitude; gratitude that these selfless civil servants did not seek, but undoubtedly deserve.

In addition, we want to thank the countless number of individuals who supported our efforts through volunteering or financial contributions. Our team could not do what we do without each of them. We say thank you to each person who wanted to be a part of something larger than themselves. Their sacrifices are noticed and greatly appreciated.

A successful season leaves us feeling great. However, it also “fans the flames” and inspires us to keep working, keep striving, and ensure that Victory Weekend 2020 is our best season yet. The Victory Weekend team cannot wait until spring of 2020 so we can be with you all once again!
