Michigan was lit!

The Victory Weekend team had the honor and privilege to hold two events in Michigan on August  9 – 11, 2018, and we thank God for these awesome opportunities. The Victory Weekend began with a Finish A Winner event at New Jerusalem Fellowship in Cement City, Michigan. The Victory Weekend team ministered to over 100 people as they enjoyed fellowship, food, and drinks while listening to Steve and Josh Reaume. Josh is a dear friend to Victory Weekend and he is the driver of the number 33 truck in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Steve and Josh spoke to those in attendance about what it truly takes to run your race and finish a winner.

We left Cement City and motored on down to Brooklyn, Michigan, dome of the Juniper Hills Campground! The crowds were buzzing and the Victory Weekend team was ready for a great weekend. The team was eager to return to Michigan to make up for the spring Victory Weekend that was dampened and ultimately cancelled due to the very heavy rainfall.

Joining us in this weekend celebration were 4,000 of the loudest, most fun-loving fans anyone could ever want! The fans loved the great music performed by the Jess Zimmerman Band! Each night, the crowds were engaged and having a great time. On Saturday night, we paid tribute to those brave men and women, who have served our nation with bravery and honor, our veterans, active military personnel, and first responders. We honored 32 selfless heroes with medals and thunderous applause. Afterwards, Steve spoke a message of hope and restoration into the lives of those honored as well as the entire crowd.

Michigan, we love you! We cannot wait to return in 2019, stay classy my friend.
