WHAT A WE HAD IN MICHIGAN! The Victory Weekend spring Michigan events were epic! Our first event was a “Finish a Winner” event at New Jerusalem Christian Fellowship in Cement City and it was a time of good food and great friends. The crowd loved the #79 Victory Weekend racecar and we loved talking with them about it. Vernon Zook led in a time of sharing and honored 8 brave Americans for their selfless service for our country. It was an amazing night and gave the entire Victory Weekend team momentum for our next event.

Next, we traveled to Brooklyn, Michigan, and Juniper Hills Campground at Michigan International Speedway. As we arrived, 2,800 raucous race fans were waiting, ready to have a great time! The fans were entertained by the music of Jeff Polen Band and Jess Zimmerman Band. Both of these talented groups put on a great show, and the faces of the fans showed it. Folks were singing and dancing long into the night. The race fans also had the unique opportunity to meet NASCAR driver Quin Houff, driver of the #77 Spire racecar. Many of the fans posed for pictures and were lucky enough to get Quin’s autograph. During the Saturday concert, the Victory Weekend team was honored to recognize and show appreciation to 10 brave men and women who have served our nation with distinction. It is always a special moment when a large crowd of grateful Americans have the chance to say “Thank you” to true heroes.

Overall, it was an awesome experience and we cannot wait to return to Juniper Hills Campground in August!
