The 7th annual Memorial Day Community Celebration was an amazing time to celebrate those who make our country everything it is! If you were not there, you really missed out! We saw over 130 classic car trucks and motorcycles, food vendors serving delicious grub, awesome raffle prizes that anyone would want, fantastic music from the Victory Weekend stage, a children’s area full of face painting and inflatable games, and over 1,400 wonderful people from the Shenandoah Valley.

During this celebration, we were proud to honor 74 veterans and active duty military personnel as well as take a moment to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our wonderful nation. As we honored these heroes by placing a medal around their necks, it was humbling for us to be in the presence of so many heroes who answered the calling of their country. We thank them for their service, duty, and lives.

Plans are underway for the 8th annual Memorial Day Community Celebration on Monday, May 25, 2020. Every year we are getting better and next year will be no exception! Thank you to everyone who was a part of this year’s celebration and for those who were not there, we hope to see you in 2020.
